  1. Register ahead of time to avoid the hassle.
  2. For those who are in Alabel, you may register tomorrow, April 29, 2011 at the Alabel Municipal Hall from 10:00 AM onwards. Our volunteers will be staying at the Municipal Hall lobby. Just inform the staff that you have already registered so that they can give you your racer number right away.
  3. You may also register online via this link: Register Online so that you won't need to write your personal details on April 30. Just inform our staff that you have registered online. It will save us time.
  4. Bring water to avoid dehydration, an extra shirt, and some weather protection -- weather's quite unpredictable.
  5. You may also bring with you empty 1.5L soft drink bottles and donate them for the project.
Nothing could be more fun than doing something good for Yourself and for the Earth! God bless you!

A Different Kind of Reunion

Every time we talk about Alumni Homecomings, we always think of parties, speeches, and the usual stuff. But in Alabel National Science High School, it's different. We get together for a noble cause -- that is to work together in a project that addresses the problems with non-biodegradable waste and of classroom shortage.

Last Saturday, representatives of Batches 3, 4, 10, 11, and 12 worked hand in hand in filling our PET bottles with soil and cement mixture.

CHEERFUL WORKERS. The Alums, together with Ma'am Ching, enjoyed doing the "dirty" stuff

After filling the bottles, we also had a taping for an audio-visual presentation to be shown on SKC28.

INSTANT ACTORS. The hesitant actors received instructions from the director, Leonard Egonia of SKC28.

To other alumni batches who are willing and able to extend their help, please let us know of your availability. Contact us and tell us when you will be coming. You may also help us from April 25-29 in the final preparations for the Earth Month 2011 Fun Run.

Let's come together and share our stories with each other while doing some work for our Bottle School Project.

Welcome to the ANSHS Bottle School Project Site!

This Summer, the Alabel National Science High School Alumni Association in cooperation with the Junior Ecologist Ministers for Mother Earth join hands for a project that will help address the problem of insufficient classrooms and the growing problem on non-biodegradable waste by initiating the construction of a building made from PET bottles.

With the help of people who care about the Earth, we believe that, together, we can do it.

We hope to synergize with local government officials, non-governmental organizations, and private individuals to realize this project.

You might just be who we are looking for to help us. Browse this site to find out ways by which you can help us. Thank you for visiting this site and we hope that you will be a partner of the ANSHS Bottle School Project.

And oh, don't forget to follow this blog to receive updates about the project! Thank you!
